Spring is in the air

my first ' real ' shot with the Nikon D70,
it seems spring is on the way ??

Works for me. I am not entirely sure if the main flower is as sharp as it could be? Or is it the compression? I would be inclined to clone out the stems in the bottom right corner.

Is it warm where you live? It is far to early for daffodils.

There are daffs coming out in brum - i think it's just been another very mild winter!

I quite like this shot but would have angled the camera down slightly to remove the white banding in the background caused by the sky. Good focus, exposure and depth of filed though. Good practice fro the coming months?
