Bit of a daily "sport" at that airport, but the young lady was killed. Knock on her head by the look of it.
We don't like losing members, so pack a helmet, okay?Edit:
If I ever go there myself, that will be first thing on my 'to do' list
The posted video is actually of a non-fatal accident at the same beach from back in 2012.
The casualty in the latest case was a 57-yr old Australian woman; there does not appear to be any video of that fatality.
The runway area is covered in warning signs:

so I doubt any life/holiday insurance or other compensation will be forthcoming.
Why are planes allowed to be so close to the fence and to the beach that is clearly frequently heaving with people? Either shut the beach or move the fence. It just seems like such a stupid and obvious danger. May as well just have lions and a 3 foot fence and act surprised when they eat passers by.
It also seems monumentally idiotic to have planes taking off and landing right over beaches where there are always people with few clothes on and where they at risk of being shot blasted smooth by passing planes.

Sounds like something I'd do too, but I hate selfies
