Love the 1st, that's a beauty ... if only I had something like that outside of my door!
 
Number two is not at all bad but the first one is excellent. The symmetry of the antlers is good and there is a great line from the wide blade of orange grass towards the bottom right of the image through the muzzles of the deer.

Thanks Dave - they were about 15 meters apart. I didn't one one left of frame and one right of frame so I had to creep round to get them in line with each other.

It was just after that my dogs got wind of them and that was that.

Sounds like a great experience - is the chasing stag quite dark - I wondered if it is melanistic? - not seen that in Red Deer before?
