A tale of two staircases...

First, the one that Queen Elizabeth used when she visited the house (Angelsey Abbey):

I am curiously drawn to this thread's subject when out and about, although I'm not that interested in stairs! But now, as I wonder about, there's always a bit of my sub-conscious looking out for stairs - interesting geometry, social meaning, etc. Thanks, OP!

(I also found the stairs that Sean Tucker sometimes uses in his street photography, but couldn't get an interesting shot because of parked cars and a shortage of people - maybe the flu thing is making people stay away from big cities?)
