I was at a festival over the weekend taking some event pictures. There was another photographer there who was using a beautiful old camera using plates.

So, I present the camera.

And the photographer

And, while I was shooting, a bloke with a digital camera started taking shots as well.

So then, you had a regular 3-some. Me, taking pictures of the guy taking pictures. I wonder who was taking pictures of the 3 of us taking pictures?

Please review.

Did you see what make it was... It seems to have more movements than most.

I shall suppose you were knowing what you
were doing in PP cause these are crazy cool
takes but their renditions are superb…

Specially #1, awesome! (y)(y)(y)(y)(y)

I think it is more like the usual movements
for foldable field cameras:
  • bellow extension
  • front standard shift & tilt but no swing
  • some limited tilt on the back standard!

It is quite fun shooting large format and you definitely draw the attention of a lot of folk who want to talk about the camera. I was at Tintagel a few weeks ago and ended up with an audience of about 8 people all watching intently.
The camera is similar to my Wista bur the front standard looks like an older type.

Looks to me that there is an extra knob at the base of both the front and back that could allow swing or shift.?

Terry,

I am not sure. The man was extremely busy and I did not want to bother him. Lols I did follow him around to get a good shot, though, lols.
