Last week we went to Stowe, but suffered greyness and overcast skies that made the landscape not worth carrying a camera. However there are various grottos around the place, and in one we came across this statue of Venus, lit from above through a light well containing mirrors. The dull day and directed light made it look quite different from the way it usually does in bright sunlight, and although there wasn't *much* light (1/10 f1.6 ISO100 for the second image) it was enough.
