Last year though I went for an M50 with the 100mm L IS canon len.
I was starting to find the gripped 7DII a bit on the heavy side for macro, especially hand held.

I was starting to find the gripped 7DII a bit on the heavy side for macro, especially hand held.

I did the same but swapped over to Olympus m4\3 gear back in 2011ish. I was getting elbow joint pain from my dslr's so had to go lighter.
