It was worth it. That's a beautiful shot.
 
I was up there about 4 weeks ago. Then it was lovely daytime weather. Nice to see a shot to remind me how lovely Snowdonia is.
 
Nice work Kevin, cracking light and how you used those elongated shadows to add depth to the image.

Outside family life, I don't think there is a better place to spend time alone than sundown on a mountain top.
 
Its a really nice shot Kev, could almost be a moonscape from some far off planet if we didn't know it so well. Like the gradient in the sky not a cloud in sight too, bet the temp dropped on the way down.
Great light and nice contrasting shadow(y)
