Sunrise on Higger Tor

The second looks pretty nice but most people won't click through to Flickr for larger versions. I wonder if there were some more distinctive rocks that you could have used to lead your eye through the second picture, you have the ingredients with the light but the foreground isn't quite working for me. The third looks really interesting on here but the larger Flickr version highlights the lack of interesting midground and foreground softness.
 
Thanks for the reply and some very fair points. I agree, there was something bugging me about the second shot and now you say it, it's the foreground rocks that don't quite work. This is why I joined though, to learn and get feedback on my compositions, so it's much appreciated :)
