Sunset across the solway

This is a three shot stitch taken across the solway towards Scotland from Parton beach

Lovely scene, but not your best shot Alf. Looks a bit on the flat side and improves with a tweak. Foreground looks a bit dark for the sun position. Only my opinion of course.

Thanks for the comment. The sun is behind the cloud and just about to apear at the hotspot. The area was very dark where I was at this point and it was starting to rain the sun is lighting up Scotland and I am darkest west cumbria taking this.

I prefer the subtle colours of my version but I will look at other parts of the processing.

I think a bled of both the image would be spot on. I prefer the more natural realistic sky in the first image, but prefer the foreground of the edited image. I think if you boosted the shadows a little it would be a very good photograph.

I like the scene but prefer the brighter image and its stronger colours
