The obvious shot to the Alcazar and down the River Tagus was denied to me due to scaffolding and masses of parked cars but I wasn't bothered, I saw this shot last time I was here after taking the obvious picture and was keen to do this angle anyway. Nature provided an awesome sky and after 600 miles driving down from Beziers I felt I was rewarded. Sadly the cathedral wasn't flood lit - like a lot of things in France and Spain they're often only lit in the weekend evenings to save money.
