Great shot, remember it well from a geography A-level field trip, looking up at the stars whilst lying on the spit of land where the castle is.

Looking back It'd make a great star trail shot location.

Thanks David and Keith yes Davis it would make a fab location for startrails pity it was gale force 8 winds and lashing it down most of our holiday we did have 3 dry days with no rain, but it was always overcast

Hi Keith to be honest for me the boat balances the shot, Ido have shots without but for me its just noy balanced Ill post a different angle with no boat

good positioning of the boat hauling the structure along to the right with the coos giving it a wee shove to help
