Also the first time I used my filters, believe this was a 60 second exposure with the Lee big stopper in place.

I think it's a bit over exposed and the foreground isn't doing much. The pole looks a bit lost in the frame - a tighter framing would help enormously.

I agree, it looks very bright on my phone. My screen is optimised for printing, it's only on about 40% brightness, and the exposure looks good to my eye on there.

It has almost nothing in the shadows region and the black point could be a little further back. But mainly I think it is the blown highlights in the sky or poor sRGB conversion.

Nothing wrong with high key images in general.

I can see a certain category of audience quite liking that, it reminds me of the backgrounds that were used on those "inspirational" posters in the 80's and 90's.
