Sunset over snow (hoy - orkney)

This is a very quick snap, I took it in about 5 minutes on my way back from work. I was a bit late and the light was nearly gone. Taken with a GX880 and 14mm f2.5 which I bought has a "always in my bag" camera. I wish I had a longer lens and a bit more time.

Honestly, the last week has been amazing, the snow has been beautiful, every sunset and sunrise have been incredible. Every day I've been gutted to be at work and not able to spend time taking pictures. I leave home at sunrise, I come back at sunset. Not often we get such amazing weather up here.

That`s a lovely shot with some really nice colours, just the right time I would say.
I think I would prefer to be somewhere like there than here in the windy, dismal and just crap weather here in the SeOF

Looks lovely. A good image doesn't need half an hour of faffy setting up - it just needs to be seen and captured.

I would clone out the nearest fence post. For me it jars visually with the rest of the image. (which is great, by the way.....)
