I quite like it but dont think the hay bales add anything, id rather of seen the folly(?) silhouetted by itself, although this may not have been possible!

Great shot. Personally I would try and lift the foreground ever so slightly and perhaps try and accentuate the light beam falling into the field through the tower. Only a smidge though.

Crop LHS at the "V" between the two trees and similarly on the RHS.

Crop the bottom just below the first bale.

Lighten shadows.
