Wild Swans! …post them in this communal thread.

Thanks, I've managed to get them on and feeling rather embarrassed with them after seeing Coolcats beautiful pin sharp swans!
Give me a few months to master my camera and I'll be back with some better ones :)

I would say your pictures are too small for pleasurable viewing

It is only the beginning of spring, you got plenty of time
just don't forget us! :)

A little work could cheer up the DRL in this case.

Here is a suggestion:

You could do better with the RAW!

Dawns early ligh

A very lovely shot…
I would work it to a more romantic-dramatic
atmosphere as it has the potential.

Black Swans all do have the red beak with the white band on it and yes they really are red as shown.

i've noticed a few types of landings.
one where the swan just puts it's feet out and stops almost immediately.
the other where they have a couple of attempts at it.
this is one of the latter.

REVISITED!

As I was contemplating to picture again, I saw
the needed WB tweak. The difficulty, here, is
where to sample it. The solution is in the darker
clouds away from the light source! Example:

Thanks for that Kodiac.

It is quite an old picture (back end of 2011 I think) and was the morning after bonfire night where they have a display the other side of the water and the smoke/mist usually lingers to the next day.

My version does look a tad on the warm side. I really need to learn PP properly. Don't have the patience or the time!

Kodia-K, change it quick before @Kodiak Qc sees! Quick, he's coming now I've tagged him! :D

Nah… the Nikon user hiding behind the ski shades
has probably one of those old keyboards where the
"c" and the "k" are too close neighbours! :)

What's the name of the skiing buddy anyway?

Nice mood in there, Dave…
I would, if I was bold enough to get you back to work (and I am!)
suggest you clean up the water surface from branches and stuff…

True enough. It's actually a mucky old ditch that looks a bit cleaner in monochrome, very green in colour :) To be honest, this is rather a half-processed shot, but I was inspired by the thread title to do a quick process in LR and post. If I get it as far as PS it may get a bit more TLC...
