In a live conversation with @BillN_33 , he suggested I consider
starting a Swan thread.
I have to admit that his communal bird thread is a blast of fun
with a couple of bird knowledgeable folks and a fair amount of
groovy shooters… many of them improving very fast as I saw.

So, ok! Herewith, I start a Swan thread that I hope will be, as
Bill's bird thread, a communal Swans thread.

Unfortunately, I have little time (and even less access) to shoot
wildlife subjects to my heart's content. The best I can do is to go
to the near by marsh and take what I can.
After noticing I was visiting the marsh quite often and always for
a quite short time at each visit, some one asked me:
—"…you must have enough of the same birds by now, aren't you
tired of them?"— My answer was: "You'd be right bloody well right
if I was shooting birds, I am shooting not the birds but the light
that falls on them… and this is ever changing, stimulating, exciting.
