This arrived for me today - My new Canon 100mm F2.8 L IS Macro lens.
I had a macro lens 15 years ago but sold it and really missed being able to get in close to subjects, so I got another

We do hundreds of "closeup" detail shots for clients and they love them (our style is being copied by lots of retailer/studios, which I suppose is a complement) great lens, you will have lots of fun with it.

I got some Kenko extension tubes (36+20+12) and a focus rail - This is all of them stacked onto the macro lens :

Stunning. I don't have any real need for true macro capability, but these shots make me want to try just for fun. My budget might only run to an old Sekonda watch, though.
