It's a wrapping paper/cling film tube cut to the length of the lens with a white paper lining, a black duct tape wrap, sealed at one end, masking tape over the other as a diffuser. Slit at the back, slot over the flash. It doesn't get more basic.

You should be using ISO200 as your base ISO as it's the native ISO for the camera

Interesting. Have a manual flash so used the iso to balance the exposure. Do you have more info on native iso's?

You get the best dynamic range ISO200 at I SO100 you start to loose the ability to recover highlights which is going to be important when using flash for macro.
When you set the I SO to 200 it says recommend for this reason.
