not bad Matt, for a beginner ;) lol

Great shots as usual mate, even got the info on them as well ! Show off ;) Are you sure it was Valles in the Spyker though ? the side on shots the name is Christian Albers on the pod ?

Your right Ian.
Valles did the morning run, then the drivers switched and Albers took over.
I should have spotted the helmet change.

actually, who the heck is Spyker?!

Good shots. :)

Spyker is a Dutch sportscar manufacturer.
They bought the Midland F1 racing team for $106,000,000.
Their first race as team owners was last week in Italy, but under the midland colour scheme.
The car now has its new colour sheme of bright orange and Silver.

very nice matt, i especially like the Williams shot, cracking

Very nice, and that 800mm is amazing

where were you stood?

Next to Ian :D

I was at luffield, stood right up against the fence.
The lens was focused through the fence without effecting the photo.

Tripod with manfrotto 393 head.
The shots shown were all taken with the 800mm.

Thanks for the comments everyone (y)

I was at Luffield C for the GP, tis a good spot that, wish i could have got as close as that tho. I assume the tripod/monopod would be essential for a lens that big? No chance of getting a shot handheld i guess due to the weight and sheer distance you at shooting at.
