Cliché shot indeed......but this is my take in less than perfect lighting conditions. That said I think the tones work well together so not that disappointed.
Excited to head back to the LD for next weekend, have a few places on the list to visit.

I really like that. Have seen plenty of shots from here and like you, this one has an interesting contrast that I'm not sure I've seen from this location before.

That is a belter, lovely contrast between the err contrast Deep rich colours on my screen (non calibrated) against the misty other side.

Lovely image. I might have zoomed in a bit to make the boathouse a larger element in the overall composition, but that's a personal preference. Love the contrast between the water and mist on the left and the foliage on the right. Good work.
