Rikardsen's whale images are extraordinary. I wonder how many hours he had to put in.
I must admit I gave up competitions like BWPA. Heard too many times that it's more about "who you know" than how good the images are... Explains how Richard Peters is making a living out of it. Don't think the bloke has ever found his own subject beyond his garden. "Nikon ambassador" my arse.
