The bridge in Fordingbridge

I bought a Kenko ND8 filter, so I popped down to the bridge to try it out. I would have prefered to have a little less cloud, but I liked the water and light trails.

The colour version and crop are better
at rendering the scene, IMO!

Couple of very nice images Mike, #1 would be my preference with its good composition, lovely reflections, and great exposure.

Thanks everyone. Here is a coloured crop version, I think I prefer the uncropped coloured one personally. But I think this new one may give some leeway to getting a free pint in The George !

How do you get the lights to blur,and the water to do that thing.Do you have a special camera for that.

The picture is a long exposure shot and the camera is stationary on a tripod with the shutter open for a long time. As a result the lights on the cars and the water flow moves during the exposure time giving the blur.

Your edit in post #6 is excellent. First was good but this second one is a great photo. Nice work.
