Two steam specials from last Saturday,

1. 45407 "The Lancashire Fusilier" climbing the bank at Eastwood near Hebden Bridge with "The Cotton Mill Express".

2. "Tornado" with the return leg of "The Yorkshire Pullman".

Canon 40D + 28-70mm f/2.8L.

A nice pair! The first is my fav due to there being no electrification gizmos...but you can't help that Well done!

The first one is lovely. IMO you should sit down, with a bru, and clone out the wires in the second one. It would be really worth it!!

Very nice! I love both pictures which are good old classic train shots. Yes, there are those "annoying" overhead electric cables in the second shot but the quality, colour and composition of that photo more than made up for it.

Two very nice shots, and I too agree with Matt about cloning out the wires, looking where they are there does not look to be any really tricky bits to do.

Thanks for the comments, and as for the cloning suggestions I actually did a "wireless" version of "Tornado" a few months ago, BEFORE & AFTER.

So I might give it another try with this one.

Oh yes. there is a HUGE amount of difference and makes the image look so much stronger IMO>
