The Dalek

[Delta Skies]

OK it's officially called Bridgewater Place but it's nickname is "The Dalek". Located in Leeds city centre near the railway station. It was taken a couple of years ago but I thought I'd have a go at processing it just before Christmas.

Thanks Neil. No I just converted to mono and then played with the levels (rather more dramatically than I normally do as I wanted to considerably darken the sky) using a layer mask and then finally added a small amount of sharpening.

Excellent image of that genre. Nice and dark but not hard to see. Too many images in this style are too gray scale and low key making them hard to see and thus cannot hold their interest. I'd be happy to call this mine.

Nice shot in a style I am doing a bit of work in at the moment too. Nicely processed and a good range of mid-tones whilst still keeping good contrast. Nicely done.

Thanks Keety. There's probably a whole load of stuff on the subject by putting a few key words into Google or YouTube.
