The Duchess Part II

At Rawtenstall on the Sunday, she was the very last train to leave the station, it had been a pretty grim day, but 30 minutes before she was due to depart the clouds broke and the sun came out. Taken using a Tokina 11-20mm f2.8 wide angle lens. I had the camera on the low wall, so I couldn't actually see what I was photographing - you can just see it on the bottom left - and framed it up prior to taking the shots. Camera was on continuous shooting mode so just pressed the shutter down when I figured it would be in frame. So these are 2 consecutive shots....

I like the first, and it frames the train well.

There's something wrong with the skies in both, with them having a different texture from the rest of thwe image and a halo around the loco & bridge - over recovery?
