Hi just thought i'll try to get peoples thoughts on this taken at my local river. Looking to present a black and white landscape at my local camera club meeting. Thanks

That should must make them happy!

Punchy, but I get a sense of the contrast/structure having been pushed a bit too high, it has become a soft scene rendered just a little hard, lacks some gradation in the mid-tones.

I was thinking the same, almost looks like it was an HDR that was pushed too far prior to B&W

Beautiful shot and the mono works really well - only other comment really is that for me the submerged branches (?) spoil the symmetry a bit

Thanks for the comments its an old shot almost five years ago so maybe time for a revisit with skills I've learnt especially in pp to improve. Many thanks
