No doubt images of this sculpture have been posted before, but the message seems particularly relevant at the moment.
The 27ft (8m) Knife Angel sculpture is made from 100,000 blades handed into police across the country.
It was unveiled in 2017 and was displayed in Liverpool and Hull before arriving in Coventry to be mounted in front of the cathedral.
Artist Alfie Bradley, who created the sculpture at the British Ironworks Centre, said it was a "monument against violence and aggression".

It is now on display in Blackburn, and every time I went past there was a group of people taking an interest, which is very good to see.

It's an odd thing, in my opinion. I imagine that, if it were dug up in a few thousand years, it would be supposed to be an idol to the god of war.

Well it could be interpreted as 'So what, I like knives!"

We can leave that to the archaeologists and sociologists of the future to worry about I suppose, for now it's just a cracking and thought provoking sculpture in my opinion.

I think so... with a touch of "Come on then, if you think you're hard enough".
