The Leadmill, Sheffield

Sheffield's iconic music venue, The Leadmill, snapped one lunchtime.

I went to take this shot so that I could get a print made for my wife's birthday. I would have loved to have gotten a night shot with the neon sign lit up, but she might have sussed what I was up to taking the camera out at night. Lunchtime meant I could take it incognito.

In the end, I quite like the gritty black and white look.

The image is too flatt and completely lacking in any highlights. Brighten it up and increase the contrast and it will be much better.
