Thanks Graham! :p

I would give the shot for a library like
that! I'm trying to imagine how much
time the owner spends in there!!!

Like this and what a wonderful place. The beam at the top jars a little with me as it breaks the symmetry. Maybe a wee crop from teh top. The tones are really nice and I just want to have a sit down looking at that comfy seat

Like this…

Thanks Simon!

The owner was referred by another castle owner where
I photograph the whole restored historical monument.

He said: "I love that room but no one can take pictures
of it that I like… all into one shot. If you can do that, you
get the job of photographing the property: inside and out,
by day
and night, in all four seasons!"

I got the job.

Quibbling a little
Quibbling is fair game too
it's rather tilted over to the right.
Good eye, Rob! (y)

I noticed that the tower was a bit crazy in that regard, I
was explained that the reconstruction of the tower has
been difficult prior to present ownership of the property.

I tackled that with the 24mm PC and stitched the 2 shots.

I can see why your client loves that room......for me the image captures the atmosphere and feelings that your client enjoys, a place to really relax. Congratulations on securing the job.(y):clap::clap::clap:

Yes, Charles, and I could not resist sitting in that chair.
The window is to the north and the light coming in is
pleasantly soft.

Thanks Charles.

Very underexposed with blown out and poorly recovered window. Fair enough it is difficult to recover. Just leave it white, not muddy false grey.

+2 stops exposure and composition closer in would have done it more justice.
