I never do B&W conversions but as the directly overhead glaring sun washed all the colour out of the shot I gave it a go.

Hi Toni, was the sky completely non salvageable? Its a 4* when that happens! Considering I think the B&W works in this eventuality.
I myself photographed the Flying Scotsman a couple of weeks back and rather embarrassingly It was my first time seeing a steam train in real life and in action. (other than on the telly) So it was very interesting to see it chug its way up from Cheltenham to Worcester and also a challenge to shoot for various reasons. You really do only get a single chance on each pass.
