The Ridge, Lofoten, Norway

Towards the end of the trip we made a hike from Å (on the left) to the north coast (on the right). We'd decided to spend the night on the ridge and on our way up we met some German hikers coming down who said it would be 'impossible'. We certainly proved them wrong although are tent was on a bit of a slant. You can actually make out the tent in the full resolution version of the image.

The hike up to this peak was completely unpathed and very steep. It was certainly an all fours job once we had walked off the ridge to make the final climb. That said this isn't particularly high, only about 750m.

I love the mirror image effect and how the position of the sun effects the colurs on each side. Fantastic.
