Finally got back out to the Peak District after what seems like an eternity of lockdown

Spent a few days wandering the area around Ladybower and over the hills to the west.

Found a nice barn and returned for a sunset - conditions looked favourable for a while, but the sun finally sank behind a bank of clouds and that snuffed out the light for the evening.

Still managed to grab a shot before the sun disappeared - I had the composition lined up and was very lucky that the ewes and lambs decided to march right up the bridleway and past me

I don't do landscapes and that type of image- but yes an Autumn visit would be good

The barn and the lumpy bits are catching the sun nicely, giving it a lovely warmth. Nice shot.

It was one of my options for this morning, along with the gate on Crookhill above the bridge ..... but I turned the alarm off and went back to sleep I'll see what tomorrow brings!

I am on holiday in Dorset and have been up at 4am each day so far - still can't find any decent bluebells
