Seemed to be the obvious choice this morning given the protection of the cliffs from the whatever speed wind was blowing overhead.
Giving the older 28-70 a bit of a work out as i'm awaiting my Zeiss's return from its temporary vacation in Oberkochen.
I'm also trying to refine some of my learned techniques and spend a bit more time on composition.
I decided on two exposures for this image instead of using grads - one for the sky and one for the foreground using spot metering on both shots in combination with the D800E live view histogram- although I certainly could do with polishing some of my blending skills in PS.

Nikon 28-70 2.8 @ 35mm, f11, ISO 100, 25 second exposure for the foreground plus Lee Little Stopper, 1/5s exposure for the sky.
