Critique The Three Sisters

I don't normally get up at 4am to drive an hour and half just to take photos. As you all know it's a bit of gamble to say the least, hoping that the conditions play ball. I even got delayed as the motorway was closed. Here I got lucky with some lovely light and this nice pink cloud despite a forecast for no cloud. I think I can now tick off the Three Sisters sunrise off my list now. I wish I lived closer to the Blue Mountains!

And this was slightly later with the light illuminating Mount Solitary and the Jamieson Valley below.

Number one is a stunner - love the blues and violets in the sky.

Whoah. Steady. Worth the drive and the rise. Loving the warm colours of two. You just cannot beat summer.

2 is lovely, I really like that, well worth the trip.

Composition in both is very good, using those rocky cliffs as a stopper in the corner as well as leading the eye in from that corner to the subject hills and sky. Wonderful!
