Interesting idea DD and lovely warm colouring ... ... but not sure what you were really aiming for ... :shrug: ... the point of focus is possibly not where it needs to be for max impact ...

IMO you want the focus on the flame, rather than on the candle holder.

Nice idea though, I like photos of candles. In fact I taught myself about d.o.f by taking photos of them

Candles are quite hard to get sharp due to the nature of a flame and the glow they produce, I like #1 best out of these. Both have a nice tone to them

Thank you Alby, Yourapocalypse and Venomator for looking. I wasn't sure about these. I liked the tones, colours and their abstractness but I knew the focus was a little suspect
