Loughborough, on the Great Central Line.They were having a steam event as I chanced to go past, a week ago, with some time to kill. I spent the next few hours most agreeably, shuttling between Loughborough and the outskirts of Leicester.
The loco is black, so the monochrome conversion decreases the impact of the peripheral elements in the picture and emphasises the subject. I suppose imaging Steam in B&W is something of a cliche, but it always works for me.
