Actually I really like these two and they work well together in that style ... ... whether by design or accident :shrug:


For me the composition of the coloured one should perhaps have not included the bee as it distracts imgo ... ... and the background might have been even better without the green stuff at the bottom ... :shrug: ... again all imgo ... ... Marvin ...

Larger versions coming up......

The only bit that bothers me is the loss of detail between the top of the thistle head and the background. I fiddled with the conversion til I was blue in the face and dodged and burnt more than an arsonist at a dodgem convention but to no avail :shrug:

I like the B&W larger and the colour one smaller it's funny how just changing the size makes such a difference sometimes.
