One from my last trip to the Norfolk coast, can't help think I was too wide at 20mm on full frame?

I've lost count how many times I've taken pictures from this view point and most of my better ones seem to be at 35-50mm, maybe the foreground lacks sufficient interest to draw the eye in and the boat pushed too far away into the frame and lacking detail?

What do you reckon??

Hi Matt

Not sure what you were after here

In my opinion :-

Its neither a seascape or a landscape , If the boat was the main point of interest is should be more prominent
The strong line of the fence running left to right is drawing the eye away from the boat / conflicting
Also the darkening of the sky is a bit off-putting

Remember its only my opinion and Who an I :)

My initial thought here was that the vignette is too heavy.
It's the first thing I see rather than anything else in the image.

Compositionally, I think I would simply have taken a few steps forward, slightly to the right to "lose some of that foreground which, IMO, adds nothing to the shot.
I agree with Allen that the boat, and the creek, need to be more prominent in the final shot.

I do however really like the BW conversion minus the heavy vignette.
