I kind of agree with Dougie :

. . . and not quite enough on the left . Might work if there was something on the right to offset or balance the person .

Just my thoughts.

I like the empty space to the right, I think it implies the large area of space for the thoughts, I would have just preferred the left side to have not been cut off, I like it overall

Be a lot better if it were in focus I am of course talking about DOF a smaller aperture would maintain focus across the image

Composition is lovely - I do like the space too

Why, out of interest? Why would that make it better?

Yes just a personal thing- I did actually say I liked the composition

The eye closest to camera is in focus, but also in shade.
As the eye furthest away is the one that's in the light, I think personally it would be better if that was in focus....
