Trying out some still life thing with three flower heads from the garden recently.

What seams to be a simple exercise, given the static of the subject, is nothing but a trap, where
all your attention should be focused on composition, exposure, lighting, etc. Here, your chosen
options are all correctly executed except the tonal range that hides the sharpness. Not that the
picture is poorly focused but the real sharpness is revealed in the dynamic range prior to shutter
release better than correction PP in the rendering.

I am suggesting this rendition to illustrate that a better exposure, IMO, reveals clearly all the
sharpness in your take. You could do better with the RAW file or at your next session.
