I've been trying to get an image along these lines at this location for over a year. Last year we all remember the heat burnt them all to ashes. Even this year a large section of the hill still hasn't recovered and the ones that really looked great were in the shade under the trees. There were manageable at least.
This was 2nd attempt last month. First time it got very cloudy towards horizon despite clear skies around horizon. This time it worked out well enough. This cloud came out of nowhere and provided some wanted colour instead of hiding the sun for a change. I could wish it was a bit bigger, etc, but this will do.
I just randomly picked a frame to edit at this point. They are all very similar but there is a chance I have slightly better one.
Did I mention I also picked up about 20 ticks there?
