Found this tiny chap on the dogs towel, I sure he was having a nibble of it. Size was 10mm long 1.5mm round.

Great shots. Loving #2

They have quite a set of jaws on them for being so small.

Nice shots! It's a good job it's a small one, those pincers look menacing!

Haha the pincers are in fact it's front legs, they do look like menacing pincers though ;)

lol So they are. You can just make out the mandibles on the mouth part. Looks a lot less menacing now.

Another cracking shot Alby (y)
Not that I have seen them at that "size" but the basic discription of a cloth moth larvea is a
cream coloured catterpiller with a brown head.......... the size also fits,
There is not too many other things that eat "fabric" apart from "wolly bears
( carpet beetle larvea) but its not one of those
Just so you are aware (y)

Thanks Chris, I think it is one of the micro moths larvae but no idea which one.

Sorry I can't be more specific MG ;( thanks for looking though ;)

Hi Alby excellent shot, he's having a good munch
Pete

The misses says "Gross". But great pictures! (y) What lens / tubes were you using?

Gary

Thanks Pete, towel must be a little bland to eat
Chenng: I used my Panasonic with the Raynox msn 202 and on board flash. Women... I don't know

Subjects turn up where you least expect them. I was scouring the house today for a little wildlife. Found some wood worm larvae :puke: but not much else.

Nice shots Alby
