very sharp...
what is special about a pancake lens..other than size..?
when pentax first brought out their smallest 35mm bodies..the smallest 35mm camera in the world..so beating olympus's om1
...in order to get the title for body and lens they designed a 50mm slim lens...the quality of course was suspect and gained the title for them nevertheless...it had a useless little narrow focussing ring
that camera was the Mx and the Me variant and came with the
the pentax s**t lens...a body stopper which was discarded for a 'real' lens by most users and the little lens was a fun thing...
so is your pancake one of these?
guess i like your shot though for effort
cheers

Focus ring is 5.5mm approx. VS 17mm of my 17-40L so yes the focus ring is not so great.
However it looks like a joke lens from a toy shop and that's a good thing.
Why you ask, because I find that if I go around with large pro looking lenses
everyone in a half mile radius knows there is a photographer walking around
and in my experience they feel uneasy and quite paranoid that they may get their picture taken
or whatever.
With a pancake lens you blend in and you look like a regular joe with a camera rather
than a photographer with reach and zoom etc.
But yes otherwise a big expensing lens wins hahahahaha....
