Tonights Moon

I should have got mine out last night.
Some lovely detail in the craters around the terminator. If you now wait till the Moon is down to a half or less they'll look even better. Perhaps a bit less exposure would have brought out more detail in the lighter areas.
 
Great detail the 2nd is better in my opinion, not that there's anything wrong with the 1st, I'd have been very happy with either.
 
Sounds interesting. How do you do that?

Trail camera's? Presumably I/R?

Be nice to see some of those shots/videos.

I actually use my 7d2,I have a 500 lumen O Light torch, filtered with a red filter, the badgers don't see the red light, b+w mode on in camera video and high iso, my colleagues also have similar torches, close enough range keeps the light source concentrated nicely, I shall put videos up on a thread when I get chance, got to go through the videos and sort them.
 
look forward to seeing them. I use a trail camera to record my hedgehog in the garden, not brilliant but enough to see whats going on............
