I tried something different with the ice hockey team I cover last season - getting them during the intro skating on in the spotlight. On this one, i've done a bit of playing in Photoshop and Perfect Effects and as the title suggests, i'd welcome your thoughts on whether it's 'over processed' or whether it works.

Also open to any comments about the general photograph itself. Anything you think I could have done better?

That IS a darn good take!
…and I can appreciate it both as hockey trainer and
photographer.

The greatest and coolest features of this take are,
unquestionably, the goalie's face and eyes… awesome!

The weaker point is the uncontrolled highlight on
the ice but I think you could retrieve some.

WB. DRL, TR… all properly expressed… but the highlight!

Dean, chapeau!

… too much PP? no, kinda cool… but needs straightening.

Fair point about the highlight. I'll have a play to see if I can recover it a bit.

Beautiful, well done!
…now straighten it and you'll be the man!
