After a very wet but enjoyable outing to Torness last week I decided to head down again. I was hoping to see a few clouds as the weather forecast had predicted it to be quite clear. The reality was a cloudy day with a break on the horizon. All was set up for a stunner but it never worked out that way mostly due to my lack of knowledge of the area and the colour not quite materialising. I missed two or three great opportunities where what was behind me lit up and made for better shots that what I was taking. Too late due to changes of lens etc to react but it is in the old noodle for next time. There is definitely a few killer shots down there and I'll persevere until I get something I'm really happy with.
