Yes, another one. But I suspect they're will be a fair few of these popping up across the week.

This was my first time at Epynt and I thought it was really cool - maybe helped by the gorgeous light at the end of the day though. I perhaps played it a little bit on more on the side of caution not knowing exactly how the guys were going to take the stages - but better safe than sorry I suppose! I think I maybe saw some TP'ers around on the final stage (I was near the jump where the Escort lost it's bonnet - if that's any use). I heard a few names that I'd seen on here before being said but I don't know what any of you look like!

Anyway, C&C away. I was a little rusty but that's perhaps not really an excuse...

More here as per usual and a few words: www.adampigott.co.uk/2014/tour-of-epynt/

You must have been virtually next to me on 6 Adam on the last run .You should have 'ad a word ,we are a friendly bunch ,even if we look a bit fierce . Ix was the one who bollocked the bloke that ran across the stage on last run nearly getting killed .By the way 6 is my favourite .

Haha, yeah...not necessarily the normal shots I suppose. But thanks!

Ah I thought you might have been around - just had no idea which one you were! And yes, I remember that bit with the bloke nearly getting clobbered by the Impreza - was a bit too close for comfort. I was just behind you and a bit to the right I would guess, can't really describe what I was wearing as it was the just the typical black jacket and waterproof trousers. I had a Nurburgring sticker on my lens hood if that's any help.

We were also the people who prior to SS6 managed to walk straight past the jump, where you all were, (expecting it to be further down the road) them promptly dashed back up the road after the first few cars had come through...

Very nice set Adam, the last 3 are belters. Cracking light towards the end of the day.

I was stood next to Chris too, Remember saying hi to you when I left ,you should of come over and joined in the banter..

Thanks Mark! The light was stunning at the end of the day, it's not often you get treated to something like that (or at least not in my usual realm of circuit racing). I figured that a few of you guys would be on here, seems I was right! I honestly can't remember you saying hello but I was probably in my own little world, really sorry! Will make sure I respond next time...

Another fan of 7, 9 and 10 here. Really good to see some wider shots to get a feel of the setting. Some good action.
I think 5, and to some extent 1, could benefit from a little selective work bringing the exposure up a touch. I like the idea behind them both though, and throughout the set, you have really made the most of the light, which makes the set stand out.

Wow. Seems I must've been the only person on this forum who didn't go to this event! :D

3, 6, 9 and 12 are my picks of the bunch. Looks a great event to shoot and the weather certainly treated you well!

Nice to see a different take on a much photographed event.Great stuff Adam!

Cheers Mike.

Love 7 and 9

Thanks!

Thanks Matty. I see what you're saying r.e. the selective work - but it's a tricky balance. I thought #1 needed more work than #5 personally, I couldn't get the balance of highlight to shadow quite how I would have liked in #1. As for #5, it's actually come out how I wanted really. I didn't want to completely silhouette the background as I liked the textural element brought in by the light bouncing off the grass and the shiny tarmac. Was pointless to boost any of the highlights as I'd loose the sky.

That said, if you want to have a play around with it to show me what you meant you're more than welcome...just PM me the results or something. Appreciate the comment though!

Haha, in fairness it's a great event! Easy to access and easy to get around with stunning scenery as a benefit too. I suspect you'd love it up there!

I was actually thinking of going down, but in the end my car packed up. Didn't fancy a 2 and a half hour drive there and back with a locked on brake. :( Next year!
