Something's wrong here Mark, you give 4 destinations
but 5 photos! So either you've never been to the 5th one
or you forgot to name that one…

I really like the first four though you were a tad too early
for the second!

Ah yeah sorry, the last one is Hong Kong as well as the first.
I'm interested what you mean about too early for the 2nd ? If you mean the light, I shot around the pier overlooking Manhattan for a good hour from light to dark and throughout what was an amazing sunset.

This kind of approach to balancing dimming residual daylight
and artificial city lights is called "magic hour" shooting.

The aim is to balance the two light sources. Here, daylight is
still stronger than city lights. A few minutes later would reveal
them better as they don't change but daylight gets slowly dimmer.

Lovely set and welcome to the forum. I particularly like shots 2 and 3.

Great shots! Personally I like the 2nd shot (NY) best, though they are all good. Off to NY in November, cant wait :)

Great entrance Mark.
Lovely introduction.
That sunset just eclipses a brilliant set (see what I did there?)
