Trip to Apedale with the Olympus Trip

Definitely more missed focus shots with this than the voigtlander. The distances are annoying slightly different and my brain has calibrated itself to the other one! Couple of shots were just completely OOF.

Had a couple that worked ok.

Bit of a bad time to go as light was fading so it was rather dim.

I know those machines rather well.

I'm sure you'll soon get used to the focusing. You could also use the distance scale on the underside of the lens.

What iso film were you using? I find it needs 400 iso to keep the DOF.

I was using cheapo kodak ASA200. Now I know it basically works I think I will be sticking with the 400 speed. XP2 next I think

I shot a roll of Poundland Agfa on mine today. Most of the shots were using the "mountains" focus point, but I took a couple of closer focus shots and after one of them forgot to re-focus for distance, so I'm expecting at least one OOF shot (although it was bright, so the camera might have picked a narrow aperture. Fingers crossed!).

I had one that was totally OOF that I wasn't expecting. It was some machine end on so I expected something to be in focus. None of it was. I was a bit miffed!
